God has this ultimate plan in store for me and it’s my choice whether I’m following it or not. The human I am I cannot follow it 100% but I can try.
It was good. I liked how, even though it diverges from the original, it still manages to be a stand alone by itself.
Although I must admit, the show got pretty weird near the end of it all. Still it was great seeing the character developments.
Envy takes the cake! Sure It was the only one that died in the weakest way possible but you have to admit, Envy had standards and kept to those even till the end. I enjoyed how It had a cool and calm side to It while being able to play the ruthless antagonist time and again. While I am not a fan of the non-fighter Envy of Brotherhood, It’s true form (which was not shown in 2003) really got me to take this version just as seriously.

I’d have to say it was a great movie! Sure it didn’t follow the manga but still it was good on it’s own and followed the story of the 2003 anime. I liked how they did the alternate universe twists and the slight possibility that all this could be true somewhere out there. It strikes me as a parallel with Fairy Tail’s Edolas arc.
It really got me to think that there is another me on the other side of the Gate using alchemy. Made me wish I could travel to his end XD

Greed (Brotherhood)
He was the only homunculus with a redeeming quality. He managed to show a good side to his sin and even managed to have changed for the better. Aside from that his ability was really cool and his merging with Ling just made him the most epic ninja ever!
Envy (2003)
Envy back then was just really strange. Didn’t know if he was a boy or a girl but what the hell, he fights well. Back in 2003, he was a real fighter that really got me to consider Capoeria. Plus he makes for a really great crazy character XD
